Os filtros das máquinas de lavar roupa e loiça devem ser
limpos com regularidade, evitando-se a acumulação de resíduos. Assim, as
máquinas lavam com maior eficiência, evitando-se ter que aumentar a força dos
programas para tentar contornar maus cheiros ou loiça/roupa mal lavada.
A máquina da loiça aconselho a esvaziar o filtro a cada
lavagem, até porque este é geralmente de fácil acesso. A da roupa, bastará uma
vez por mês, ou sempre que notarem algum odor (ou a falta de uma meia…).
Também os condensadores dos frigoríficos e arcas deem ser
regularmente limpos, por exemplo no início de cada estação, visto que a
acumulação de pó obriga a um maior consumo de energia.
